​ COACH DWIGHT JAMES

With more than 15 years of coaching experience, Coach Dwight James has built a strong reputation for teaching, developing and leading young basketball players in the Ottawa community.

Coach James served as Head Coach at Ridgemont High School from 2010–2017 while also leading Ottawa Elite from 2015–2017. In 2016, he guided his Ottawa Elite team to the CYBL Grade 10 Division Championship.

In 2018, Coach James joined Canada Topflight Academy (CTA) as an Assistant Coach with the Junior program. He was named Head Coach of CTA Junior in 2019, a position he continues to hold today.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach James has remained committed to player development, competitive excellence and preparing athletes to succeed at the next level.
