WHY CANADA TOPFLIGHT ACADEMY?
CTA is the only Scholastic SR Prep Boys program in the region that competes in top platforms in Canada and U.S.: OSBA, NPA, Platinum Circuit and Elite Prep League. CTA is the only SR Prep Boys program in the region to compete in the most prestigious US showcase events: Hoophall Classic, Basketbull, Zero Gravity, Western Reserve, All-American JUCO Showcase and Madam Kuol Memorial.
In CTA’s first 2 seasons, the men’s senior program has won the National Preparatory Association (NPA) Championship.
We support each student athlete academically and athletically to prepare and ensure success at the next level. We leverage a top-notch learning environment at Notre Dame High School, Learning Centre and the Ottawa Catholic School Board. We recruit high-end talent and character from around the world.
The CTA experience is competitive and challenging and FUN
CTA senior student athletes attend Notre Dame High School through a partnership between CTA and the Ottawa Catholic School Board. Address: 710 Broadview Avenue Ottawa, Ontario Canada.
CTA junior student athletes attend St. Pius X High School through a partnership between CTA and the Ottawa Catholic School Board. Address: 1481 Fisher Avenue Ottawa, Ontario Canada.
CTA student athletes will have access to all Ontario Secondary School Diploma courses, teaching staff, guidance counsellors, Achievement Centre and other key resources. CTA has a dedicated team room exclusive to coaches and student athletes. It’s a place to do homework, conduct study hall sessions, review game film, etc.
FEATURES:
CTA Basketball program has the best interest of the student athletes. The success of the program is measured by the success of each of our student athletes!
❖ We promote an environment of structure, support and discipline to assist CTA student athletes to exceed their potentials.
❖ Notre Dame High School and St. Piux X High School will academically deliver a solid curriculum which will set-up the CTA student athletes for any post-secondary options.
❖ CTA is one of two NIKE Nationally sponsored programs. All players will receive an amazing package which includes: shoes, practice gear, track suit, knapsack, warm-up shirt, socks, t shirts
❖ CTA is only Ottawa program that participates in the PLATINUM Circuit (TPC) exclusive to the best programs in the nation and all games live-streamed and archived on Topflight TV so exposure is at a maximum.
❖ CTA is only Ottawa Boys program that participates in the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA).
❖ CTA is only Canadian Prep program to compete in the ELITE PREP LEAGUE (www .eliteprepleague.com) – one of the top platforms in the U.S.
❖CTA JR Academy participates in the highest levels in Canada both the National Junior Circuit (NJC) and OSBA High Performance Development League features the in the nation. The CTA schedule will also include exhibition games and showcase events in Canada and possibly the U.S.
❖ CTA Coaching and Training staff bring a wealth of knowledge, skill, ability and experience. The training program and expectations will mirror the expectation of a top university. We are preparing the student athletes for the next level of competition! “Elite attitude, Elite results!”
❖ We are proud to be part of the Ottawa community, it is a safe and welcoming environment. It is a basketball hot-bed here, featuring the top 2 teams in OUA with Carleton University and University of Ottawa. CTA will also garner a lot of attention in the community.
❖ Our team has over 20 years of sports marketing experience in all aspects of media and public relations. The team and the players will be promoted on all social media platforms (IG, Twitter, FB, TikTok).
❖ CTA is well respected program and has strategic relationships with all National Scouts: Josue Sedjro (OnPoint Scouting), Josh Millican (Maple Minute), Wes Brown (Monday Report), Jon Soch (Scout in a Suit) Northpole Hoops (NPH) and will promote CTA and our student athletes.
❖ CTA student athletes will receive a complimentary profile on upcoming Topflight Prospects www .topflightprospects.ca recruiting site which will be utilized by NCAA, NJCAA, USports and CCAA coaches.
❖ CTA coaches and players will be involved in the community. We believe in you get what you give and believe it is important to take advantage of cross-promotion opportunities with other CTA events such as tournaments, clinics and camps, etc.
❖ The CTA will work with your current AAU/club team and/or create an opportunity for you as our staff has relationships with all the top clubs (Ottawa Elite, Evo, Out the Mud, Dream Canada, Uplay, Grassroots Elite, CIA Bounce, Canada Elite and Brookwood Elite).
❖ CTA staff will guide and work with our student athletes developing profiles and contacting university/college coaches – we will assist them with the recruiting process!
❖ Strong record of success for placing our players to all levels of post-secondary (NCAA, Usports, JUCO, CCAA)
