Canada Topflight Academy is pleased to annouce  that Uganda's STEPHANE OKENGE will be part of the program for the 2017-2018 season.

Stephane is a 6'1" combo guard (class of 2021) was born in Ottawa but has spent the past 5 years living in Rwanda then in Uganda. A natural athlete, Stephane has been playing in the International School Sports Association of Kampala for the past three years and began playing basketball at the age of 11.  Despite only being in grade eight, Stephane has consistently been playing competitive basketball well above his age level, and this year competed in the top high-school league in the region.  In his first game of the season and coming off a serious injury he scored 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists. This past season, his U20 team went 15 and 1 to clinch the championship. Last summer, Stephane led his Junior NBA team to an undefeated season and won the country-wide skills competition.  

Stephane is known for his shooting range and ball handling.  Outside of basketball, Stephane's outstanding athletic talent has him holding records in virtually every other school sport.  Stephane is driven, determined and has his sights set on playing Division I basketball in the future.  He's looking forward to investing hard work in training and developing his skills with Canada Topflight Academy.
