Canada Topflight Academy welcomes PAIGE RYAN to the 2018-2019 women's team!

Paige began playing basketball with the Nepean Blue Devils at the age of 9. She played competitively at her age level her first year and since then has ‘played up’. Most recently, she played for the Gloucester Wolverines Basketball Association (GCBA) Midget team.

In grade 6, Paige had the opportunity to represent Ottawa in the Ontario Basketball Talent Identification and Development Program at Georgian College in Barrie.  She was selected to play in the National Capital All-Star Classic (OCEAA) in both grade 7 and 8 while earning MVP honours this year. Last summer she played for a U17 team and this summer for the U18 Gloucester Elite team.

Paige has a genuine love of the game and enjoys spending hours honing her ball-handling skills. Through hard work and dedication, Paige has advanced rapidly and has proven to be a formidable competitor who will rise to any occasion. She is both a team player and leader on and off the court and her unwavering dedication to this sport is extraordinary.

Canada Topflight Academy welcomes Paige to the 2018-2019 season!

"Paige impressed me with her court sense and ability to remain calm and focused when running an offence.  She also takes on defending as a priority which fits in well with our, team defence first, philosophies at CTA!
I welcome Paige to our CTA family!"
