In her rookie year on Immaculata High School's Varsity Basketball Team, Avery help lead the team to their first AA OFSAA appearance where they won the Sportsmanship Award. Recently, Avery was selected to play at the Ottawa National Capital All-Star Classic and the All-Star Game Showcase presented by Capital Courts and Boxed Water. This season, Avery plays for the Ottawa Nationals Juel Prep team.

Avery has won countless awards for a variety of sports at Immaculata including basketball, touch football and hockey. She was also awarded the Immaculata Intermediate Female Athlete of the Year Award two years running, demonstrating that her athleticism goes far beyond the basketball court. Avery’s dedication, work ethic and love for the game make her the perfect athlete for the CTA women’s team at Immaculata High School.

"I am very pleased to have Avery be our first player commit to Canada Top Flight Academy at Immaculata High School.  She is a wonderfully talented young player with a genuine love for the game.  She will be a great asset to her future teammates as an Immaculata  sophomore! Welcome to our CTA Family Avery!"
