Canada Topflight Academy is pleased to announce that Ottawa, Ontario's ALSTON HARRIS will be part of the CTA program for the 2017-18 season.

Harris is one of the region's top point guards and will bring a wealth of experience on and off the court to CTA. Alston started playing basketball in the summer of grade 6 when he attended his first Ottawa Phoenix camp. He would excel into one of the premier guards for that program while also attending St. Patrick's Catholic School. The 5'10" lightning quick guard brings championship pedigree as he has captured an elementary City Championship in grade 8 as well as two senior AAA honors while playing with the Irish. Harris who recently joined the Ottawa Elite program helped guide last year's U17 team to an impressive silver medal and the U19 squad to Final 4 appearance this year in the prestigious Canada Youth Basketball League (CYBL). Alston has also made an appearance in one Elementary All-Star game and has represented the East in three consecutive Ottawa High School All-Star games.

CTA is expecting solid contributions from Harris as they defend their NPA National Championship next year.

CTA welcomes Alston to the program and the CTA family.
