Canada Topflight Academy is pleased to announce that Kanata, Ontario's AIDEN WARNHOLTZ will be part of the CTA program for the

2017-18 season.

Warnholtz is a point guard that controls the court with tempo and vision; he will make the opposition pay if he is left alone and he is able to defend the elite opponent. Aiden began playing basketball when he was 5 years old with the Kanata Youth Basketball Association small ball program. From there he advanced through house league to the Ottawa Next Level competitive teams where he played an age level up from U11 to U16. In his U16 2015 season, Aiden helped lead his team to a top 5 OBA Division 1 finish and also received his team's season MVP award. For the 2015-2016 club season Warnholtz was a key player for Ottawa Elite U16 who finished 2nd in the Canadian Youth Basketball League.

Aiden has also enjoyed playing school basketball from elementary to high school. While at Bridlewood Community Elementary School, he was a major contributor on the Ottawa wide championship team in grade 7 and received Athlete of the Year in grade 8. While at A.Y. Jackson Secondary School Aiden received the Junior Athlete of the Year award in grade 9 and the Junior Basketball MVP award in grade 10. In 2016 he earned his fourth straight appearance in the Ottawa middle and high school all-star basketball classics. Warnholtz is also committed to academics and has maintained an over 90% average in grades 9 and 10.

The Canada Topflight Academy is pleased to have Aiden with the team again this season!
